Four years ago, my GP referred me to Mr Jones clinic. I had an extremely painful right thumb to the extent that I was unable to turn on a tap, or use a knife with my right hand. Initially I was given a plastic splint, then a steroid injection, both of which offered temporary relief. Mr Jones then operated on my thumb, inserting a polycarbon spacer between the painful joints. With regular excersise, my grip soon came back, and the pain was gone. I can now continue with my business of farming and butchering.Thank you Mr Jones, I would fully recommend this procedure to anyone with this condition.

This was the 4th time Mr Jones has operated on my hands, and each time I have been very pleased with his care, and the results of the operations. I would be happy to be treated by Mr Jones again.

After numerous discussions with others,Mr Jones recognized my condition and offered an operation which he carried out himself. At all times he was helpful and considerate and explained everything in detail. The operation was successful and the aftercare has been second to none. On the whole my experience at Peterborough Hospital was very good. Thankyou to all concerned.
